Welcome to the Westside Steppers Website
The Westside Steppers Square Dance Club (WWS) welcomes you to our website. WSS has changed since it was formed in 1975 as an
outreach program at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Wichita, Kansas. We are now a caller run club. We are a member of the Kansas
Square Dance Association (KSDA) as well as the South Central Kansas League of Square & Round Dance Clubs.
The WSS dances are usually held the first and third Sundays of each month from September through May. We dance in
Clare Hall at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 861 N. Socora in Wichita, KS. Dances usually begin at 7:00 pm and
ends at 9:30 pm. You can check the exact location and time in the calendar found in this website. We are a
mainstream club with the third and sixth tips being plus. Some callers may have line dances and/or round dances
between tips. Guests are charged $6.00 each for admission to our dances.
